Among them: The Black Economic Council of Massachusetts, or BECMA, and its Black Mass Coalition; the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund, created by 19 Black and Brown business leaders who have raised $30 million for Black- and Brown-run organizations focused on racial equity and social justice issues; and King Boston’s New Boston Coalition, a BIPOC-led group launched in February to realize a “radically equitable and inclusive Boston.””
